Our support to promoting nutrition and food security is multi-dimensional. We have provided technical and analytical support as well as advisory services to operationalize ICARDA’s new Business Strategy and Resource Mobilisation and Partnerships Action Plan.
Our team led discussions and consultations with over 30 global and regional partners including academia and private sector.
A comprehensive resource mobilisation outlook including five targeted programs and initiatives were prepared, worth over $300 million, to support additional research and innovation in agriculture, new opportunities for youth employment in the agriculture value chain, increased access to nutrition for women in the reproductive age and children from 0 – 24 months, and last but not least greater coordination amongst the stakeholders and institutional capacity building.
Our team provided focused analysis on new opportunities for ICARDA’s expansion of the business model through an improved financing model.
